Dr. Christy Perez
The Dreaming Justice Project is the first-ever winner of the Community Seed Grant, receiving $100 in seed funding to support early-stage impact work centered on justice and community care.
Dr. Christy Perez (C. Dreams) is a public theologian, writer, and freedom architect whose work bridges scholarship, journalism, and grassroots strategy.
As founder of the Dreaming Justice Project, she designs initiatives that center abolition, healing, and cultural stewardship for marginalized communities. She is a Marvel Cooke Abolitionist Journalism Fellow and a Writing for Justice Fellow with Columbia University’s INCITE Institute. Her writing has appeared in HuffPost, Filter Mag, The Appeal, and Business Insider.

Agro Majic- Quarter 2 Winner

Agro Majic is the Quarter 2 Community Seed Grant recipient, receiving $200 in seed funding to support early-stage work rooted in land stewardship, regenerative agriculture, and community connection.
Focused on reimagining how we grow, share, and sustain food systems, Agro Majic is committed to practices that honor the land while creating accessible pathways for community-based agriculture and education.
Their work sits at the intersection of healing, sustainability, and empowerment, using growing as both practice and possibility for community transformation.

Focused on alleviating the financial and emotional burdens of early motherhood, T.R.I.B.E. of Georgia is committed to supporting underserved families across the Atlanta area by providing critical, everyday resources for infants and toddlers. Recognizing that many households face severe financial hardships, they aim to supply essentials like baby clothing, hygiene products, diapers, training pants, and formula so that parents never have to make agonizing decisions between basic necessities.
Their work sits at the intersection of maternal wellness, community care, and economic empowerment, using direct resource relief and sisterhood as powerful tools for change. By stepping in to fill these vital gaps, T.R.I.B.E. actively reduces parental stress, promotes positive family well-being, and fosters lasting community transformation.
